Morning all,

I haven’t got a Ford daily driver, but I’m well on the way with a nut & bolt restoration of my Mk3 Capri 3.0S which I have owned since 1989.

Over the years I’ve had other Capris of all Mks, a Mk5 Cortina & an XR3 as well as a couple of bikes.

I have a lot to learn still as work progresses, so hoping I’ll pick up from others’ experiences on here.

Loving it already. Had a blue 3.0s when I was about 19. 

Came back from 2 months in Kenya and needed a cheap car in a hurry to get me from Tidworth to South Wales. Ended up keeping it for about a year as it was so good 😁

I think I ended up selling it for a MK1 Astra GTE.

I’ll update as I go.  Next job is rebuilding the axle with an LSD.  I’ll need to be patient with that from what I’ve learned.
