Hi All,

Not a new member, but I've not been on here for a long time, so time to return.

Have still been enjoying the Escort, although its not as clean as many on here, its still great fun and gets the looks and thumbs up from people which is a great feeling

Mexico lettering now removed, but Ive kept the stripes as they break up the white..

Car has a 1760 X-flow engine, but only a 4 speed box.

Interior is Sapphire Cosworth leather and replica Springalex steering wheel.

Bumpers are stainless steel, and wheels are JBW RS4s.

Have thought of changing to round lights but many have said keep them as they are.

Maybe looking at getting a zetec conversion done if funds permit one day

Welcome back, still a few of us around from when you first joined.

The advantage of the round light change is that you can get replacements easily. The oblong ones are now very hard to find.

Welcome back Jason, think I remember your car. What have you got where the Mexico wording used to be now?

Car looks great still, any interior and engine shots?

Another Sussex car which is nice to see 👍

Seaford, East Sussex for me.

No interior shots of mine, but front and rear seats are from a Sapphire Cosworth.

Mexico lettering removed as its not a mexico but I like the stripes

Unfortunaly I havn't got my Cortina back from paint yet, then I've got to put it back together, I'm hoping to get some use before the bad weather/salt gets here.

So maybe  Get a local meet up and run

I only know of one other person locally to me with an old slool ford. He has a MK1 capri 3.0 GT, but thats in paint shop also.

Be nice to meet up for a cupa tea and a chat. But as soon as the first road salting, I stop using my car, and its tucked up over the winter 🙃
