mk2 escort van s.a import

hi all new to this site 

ive just brought a mk2 ford escort van the front and rear wheel arches look really flared but inside the wings and out side there is no evidence of any welding to extend them

is there such a thing as a wide body version as i thought i had owned one of each model van in my life time obviously not 

any help would be great

While there are pre-flared arches you can buy for Mk1s, with you owning a Mk2 van the arches are unique to that and never seen flared ones specifically for them so its likely just done very well where you cant see the seams.

Rear arches on a standard mk2 van are the same as a mk1 van. The front wings on a mk2 van (and estate) are unique to those cars but they don't have any overt flare.

Post up a pic, as a mk2 van owner myself,  I'm interested to see what you have
