They got some straight runs of it in Trago. If I remember correctly, it's around 16MM inside diameter. I used this when by-passing my heater matrix. They also might have it on display in Spartan (Tredegar). 

I am off work today, burning off some leave if you want to grab my old blue silicone hose to take up there and compare.

I'm hopefully doing Mondeo ST alternator, pulleys and tensioner if the parts arrive today, so should be kicking about my garage. Got a new alternator and battery ready, but been waiting on a Gates kit since last Thursday to start this job.

Measured a few and it is 15 mm maybe 15.5 mm.

Just to be controversial LOL as these cars were designed / build in Imperial times the hose would have been 5/8" ID which is 15.875mm. Most sellers with hose off the reel call it 5/8" or 15mm. Just be aware if doing a Zetec conversion using RF water rail - the hose connection they use is a 'real' 16+mm and normal hose won't fit in the cramped confines (ask me how many leaks I had from this one connection ! ! !)
