BROWNY 1968 Posted April 1, 2025 Report Posted April 1, 2025 does anyone have a 4.1 atlas cwp for sale please, would prefer a genuine ford one, ive seen the new one on ebay for £600, bit out of my budget, are the repro ones any good anyone got experiance with the copys ? cheers.
Miniliteman Posted April 2, 2025 Report Posted April 2, 2025 All the copy item around the £300 mark (RD, BHP, Evans) come from the same place. Many years ago the copy items were like butter, guess the quality must have improved. The hardness of the more expensive aftermarket items (Burton) was always better. Fitting by someone who knows what he.she is doing is key to make it last. Have a genuine Ford 4.11 CWP (used for 1 race then changed for another ratio) as a spare for my car. Will part with that but only for good money.
BROWNY 1968 Posted April 2, 2025 Author Report Posted April 2, 2025 ive posted on Retards Club asking similar question about the repro stuff, few replys ive had say, there good no problems so far, ones had a set in a road rally car for a few years, bit more research before i buy one cheers for the reply.
