Dave Knight Posted April 20, 2025 Report Posted April 20, 2025 Hi Kev, I replaced my candles with these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335054074396?fits=Plat_Gen%3AMK+II|Model%3AEscort&_skw=tudor+mk2+escort+headlights&itmmeta=01JSA8RN082EC06EZ7YBNHX3Y6&hash=item4e02c7721c:g:Jg4AAOSwVaxkyPX1&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1f%2B6S4A8PfY6ah0LiZ9V2qqOPuREOKf3KhRIjtOIAO1deossx0Gdv8w%2FaHyDaDAzi%2FLG0sHZpDXvCJPtTYTqlHxa08uxexKaFSYwyotFa8vRlsO7ToRDzQYXNk0nXdA8m2CONLJf%2FU59A3MPiL1ryNft2gxUBpzd18Qwv2SdW%2BvdazEA7qX59CEdja%2FXIbuTLLr74C%2Fw8UdSyha51YTha51IXOWEdeg5XZj%2F8auakTfvFg8DCRwS8YzXc0QTkJ6CDnnhG0ZEf2eT%2Byzp5hn3XOS|tkp%3ABk9SR6LQ4sjKZQ Give Mike Hill a ring. Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted April 21, 2025 Moderator Report Posted April 21, 2025 Once you have the original Ford 7in mounting rings for the headlight buckets you can pretty much fit any 7in H4 headlamps that you like? Or is there some unusual non standard headlamp mounting for UK cars?
Miniliteman Posted April 21, 2025 Report Posted April 21, 2025 On fleabay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305952531285 (start saving ...) These fit the plastic bowls (early cars, RS1800 had metal ones) without the need for mounting rings. The long bolts in the bowls can seize up.

Does anyone make replicas of the 7in Frame rings? I was sure someone was putting them out at some point?
Miniliteman Posted April 21, 2025 Report Posted April 21, 2025 These were advertised not that long ago, Carello Halogen RHD.
