Dave Knight Posted June 23, 2025 Report Posted June 23, 2025 Went to see the mighty Iron Maiden on Saturday at the Coop stadium in Manchester, booked today off to recover. They blew the frickin roof off. One of their best performances for sure. I’ve seen them 53 times, so I guess I’m a bit of a fan. 🤣. The long hair has long gone, but the passion for the band hasn’t. 🤘🏽I’m still in the fan club. 🤣😉 Any metal fans? 2
Admin Vista Posted June 23, 2025 Admin Report Posted June 23, 2025 No spoilers please! Got tickets for the gig in London on Saturday. First saw them in the mid 80's and have done many times since. Nowhere near 53 times though!
Dave Knight Posted June 23, 2025 Author Report Posted June 23, 2025 Deffo no spoilers Vista. Strap yourself and report back!
Vista Estate Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 I heard Iron Maiden had gone Woke and renamed themselves Iron People. 🤣🤣 1
Admin Vista Posted June 28, 2025 Admin Report Posted June 28, 2025 Iron Maiden's gonna get aaallllll of you!
Dave Knight Posted June 29, 2025 Author Report Posted June 29, 2025 (edited) Some gig wasn’t it mate! The visuals were stunning too. Last time I saw them play like this was, Beast on The Road tour 82. They are all on top form. Thought Simon Dawson was superb. Edited June 29, 2025 by Dave Knight
Admin Vista Posted June 30, 2025 Admin Report Posted June 30, 2025 It was one of the best Maiden gigs I have ever seen, and certainly the largest with circa 75'000 fans present. If I had a criticism, it would be that the screens needed to be larger in such a large stadium. Even on the screens, the detail was distant. The music and delivery though? First Class. And all from the best era of Maiden (in my opinion) 1

It was bloody biblical. 😉
Dave Knight Posted October 1, 2025 Author Report Posted October 1, 2025 @Vista Are you going to Knebworth?
