help needed with engine conversions ..

Sambo will probly have my guts gfor this but have you considered using a jap motor? saw a supra 3.0 straight-six, 5-spd box and loom on eblag for £150 a while back. and the capri's certainly got the length in the engine bay and you're looking at about 200bhp from a standard motor. get the turbo version and you're looking at 250+! standard! with room to reliably tune to 350-odd before needing any sort of internal messing about.

thats a good point actually! jap motor, forget what their called (something like DET??), certainly worth a go, as mentioned easy to tune to a huge horse power, and they do sound good!
