  1. Past hour
  2. MK2, drivers side if you have one, decent thread. 👍🏻
  3. Today
  4. Tidy that. You get the odd diamond in Aldi. Sod the bread, milk, blow up bed, weed burner….straight to the hot wheels.
  5. Black 1990 Sapphire Cosworth reg TLA30 was stolen at 23:20 from outside the owners house in Dorking, Surrey on Monday 27th July 2026. The car is fitted with black Cosworth lattice alloys, has smoked rear lights & 4x4 bonnet vents. It has had the rear spoiler & boot badges removed. The car has leather Recaro's which are showing wear, especially the drivers seat. The paint has some damage & the windscreen is cracked. The car has a stainless exhaust fitted.
  6. Mad how small they are now. Even parked beside a Mini they look teenie. But 😎 😎 😎
  7. The plate that the U bolts go through and the shock bolts too??
  8. I found these today. I have quite a few variations of this Rs1600 and I also have 105e Anglia's, Zakspeed type Capri's, Rs/X-pack arched Rs2000's, Sierra Cosworth's, Rs200's and I think I have a MK1 Transit SuperVan. I'll put them up here if anyone wants to see them. The packaging on one of today's was Gerbil-eyed so I opened it and found the brown is a lovely metallic colour.
  9. This happened to my mate at a classic bike show. Thankfully it was found before he left. Your iPhone can detect them. Equally, Android can too.
  10. Hi all, Has anybody got one knocking about? Preferably drivers side. Will pay the postage. Note. Scammers will be reported. cheers
  11. A few years back I caught a guy under the car trying to plant one at the reservoir. Got a kick in the privates and the dog licked his face as a hello then he took off.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Indeed. Be careful out there guys.
  14. Read about this happening at other car shows too. A worrying trend.
  15. Got sent this from my local car club after Scottish Ford Day… IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS. We are posting this message as we feel it only fair that entrants to our show on Sunday and club members are fully aware of a worrying incident. Today we received information from an owner who, when cleaning his vehicle after the show, discovered a magnetic Apple air tracker stuck inside the front bumper. From the information we received this could only have happened at Scottish Ford Day. The owner told us so we can warn other enthusiasts and generally raise awareness of this trend. We have no intention to cause owners to panic but feel that it is our duty to make this information public. Police have been informed and we would ask you to carry out a cursory check of your own vehicles as soon as you can. We believe that this has happened at car shows before and it is something we must all be aware of. Please feel free to share this post if you wish.
  16. 🤩 Easily the best car in the car park though…looks shrunk in the wash 😂
  17. I had a nice drive to work today. How small my Cortina looks next to the modern cars 🚗 🤔
  18. Last week
  19. Definitely James. I’m with the masses, I like the look of ‘filled’ arches. I’m looking to get my 5.5 steels banded to 6. I think the VW rabble are proficient in that. Welcome back by the way. I’m glad you’re on the mend mate.
  20. That’s another minefield. Tyres being different widths but listed as being the same dependant on make… Also noticed Dunlop now sell a “classic” style tyre , either unusual sizes or old skool look tread pattern but at circa £200 each they weren’t for me…
  21. Normally yes, but the Pirelli P7F was more like a 205 tyre as said.
  22. 175/50/13 on a 7.5” must look quite stretched Probably much the same as a 195/45 My car came with 175/50’s. 7” front and 8” rear. Front looked ok-ish but rear looked awful and damn right dangerous. I tried 185/60s all round but the front rubbed the arch as don’t have Mexico wings. Fitted 175/60 to front and left the 185 on rear but the rears looked like balloons in comparison to fronts. Spent far too long on a tyre comparison site to try figure out the best combo for front and rear that were closest % wise for profile, rolling radius etc and the best I could find for tyres that were available was 175/60 front and 195/55 rear. Now looking at the car side on they look same height front and back and not like a hot rod with the 185/60 rear. Now I know why cars like Porsche with different widths front to rear have different profiles…eg: if they have a 35 profile front , rear will be 30. A wider tyre on rear needs to come down at least one profile to match…
  23. Back in the day the German's choice was the Pirelli P7F in 175/50R13 . The 175 width was probably just to keep the TuV happy as it was more like a 205 tyre in reality. In UK I've seen Uniroyal 195/55R13 tyres on 7.5 inch rims.
  24. I thought the same … i “think” they are 195/45’s. A tyre size im led to believe they don’t make anymore so unsure what the go to tyre is now.
  25. Im all for 13in rims but those tyres look like they are coming off the rims to me!🤣
