@dt36 is always good at finding great video builds whenever I get really bored (Im pretty sure he does it during work time but dont tell him I said so!)

While not Mk2 of course he found the Retropower Mk1 build which now has 16 episodes, that is definitely worth a look till you find more Mk2 Stuff.

Haha, sometimes, maybe it will overrun my lunchbreak by a few minutes 😇

I mostly watch them now sitting on my turbo trainer in the garage. Trying to get a morning and evening session in during lock down.

Anyway, here's a fabrication build that shows you just how much work is involved in an old shell. Always impresses me how much skill you lot have when I see your welding and fab posts.

I knew he would have one up his sleeve! I haven't seen that one myself so thanks for that!

Here's my general list that I currently go off. Although I am watching a Sierra Cosworth resurrection that I need to add in.

Should be some content in there to keep you ticking over:

Might give me something to watch!

I’ve just put a tv on the wall in the workshop so can have them playing whilst working, might give me some inspiration lol

If you go into your settings in YouTube, set the Autoplay to on. This should hopefully allow certain channels to play consecutively, without you having to choose the next vid.

@dt36 has kindly already mentioned my channel (Adaptive Engineering) with my series of "Garry's Garage" which I've only just started, doing some stuff with my Anglia. Hopefully later this year I'll also start on restoring/modifying my Mitsubishi Legnum.

I'd also add Home Built By Jeff as a strongly recommended channel too.

A few more channel suggestions to add:

Tom's Turbo Garage

The Skid Factory

Jaffromobile

Having just seen images of your workshop I would put a projector onto a wall and just have it playing as a life size mural as you tinker with your own cars! Once the shower is in all you need is a Uber Eats drop point at your door and you are totally set!!

This is a fairly new set of uploads, so not a lot of in-depth work gone on yet.

The episode where they get it running was interesting, looking at some of the methods they used. Some could argue that you would have tried this or that first, but they got there, fair play.

Hopefully, they'll start tearing it down more at some point and get into the meat of it.

Thanks that looks great. Just took a quick peek, there are 5 episodes that I found but hard to determine which order they go in.

What have you watched already, may be of interest to us

My go to is Bad Obsession Motorsport, project binky. Good watch

Marcus Hayes has some good content

Usher Engineering, worth a look

MK2 Dave is there also

Kris Duprey is worth a scan too

Salvage Flippers is doing a Cossie, so is Salvage rebuilds uk.

Quite a lot of watchable content for mini fans, Stevestonmotorco, Classic mini workshop has some really good content, MED Race Technology has some stuff worth watching also.

I’ve found a lot of the Escort videos are mostly slideshows, not many build videos about.

Ashleigh Vlogs has one cossie vid, with a mk2 sport making a guest appearance ( looks to me like a SA 1600 sport )

cheers

Bad obsession is a good watch. Always a bracket to me made. Quality of their work is amazing

Episode 1 always tickles me when Nick says “ our home for however many months “ and its still running 6 years later.

I dont feel quite so bad about mine not running yet

Vintage Voltage.

Getting into this on Quest. Interesting :

Interestingly, I spent all of last week working/playing with an unmanned utility vehicle that ran off electric.
