Hi, so the RS is now in its winter grotto, all snug as a bug in a rug. Up on axle stands, wheels off. So my request is for information about good wheel refurbishers, hopefully in the Berkshire, Surrey or outer London area. I am looking to have my standard 6 X 13 RS alloys stripped, repainted and diamond cut and lacquered. So can anyone advise on who's good, who's bad, and what sort of cost to re do all four wheels. I await any advice. Cheers Pete

Scum of the earth. I feel your pain, my rented garage got done last yr, and so much stuff went! Stuff I just can't replace. I was totally gutted and the police where little or no help. Not one item was recovered, and the police reckoned that my items where winging there way to eastern Europe in the back of a van. Just keep your eye on flea bay and scumtree and you never know they may be thick enough to advertise their ill gotten gains on there!

Hi, Just thought I would let you know about my very positive experience at Novatech in Slough. They guys had previously had my RS shortly after I bought her in July, I just wanted to ensure all was good. They carried out a couple of runs but due to me having a broken blade on the engine mounted fan they were a bit dubious about to many runs and suggested that I get this defect sorted and then re book. I bought and fitted a Revotec kit and installed it, cools perfectly and the wiring in is a piece of piss. So back to Novatech on 27th Sept. Several full bean runs completed and a main jet issue was identified and rectified. Also a timing tune carried out throughout the rev range to ensure full tune. My engine is standard less a re build, pipercross filter and two box Janspeed manifold and system. Final figures of 119.6 bhp which I was well chuffed with. Over 2 hours with the guys and final cost £70........tell me you can find cheaper! So if your after a rolling road tune and your able to get to the Slough area give these guys a call.
