  2. Classic Vauxhall also nice cars, Good reliable car, easy to work on.I have an earlier gen. German Opel Kadett B '69 with a modified 2.0 XE. Still a project. I would also go for the red top engine. They run very well.

  9. long time off wrenching on cars. Left it for about 10-12 years, just once in a while getting back to it. I had always driven Escort mk2 and had a mk1 as project. But i had to sell all of it, because of no storage, bought a house ( still lot of work to do ) . Now i have 2 cars sitting in my garage, and one i started working at it again. My daily driver Ford Fiesta mk2. Started as MOT failure, got out of hand and became a long term project. I hope it will be ok, to have a rather late model Ford here on ofc. I am oldskool gearhead, build parts myself, mix different make/model parts if possible, make it perform better. Guido
