Hi, i have some used parts for sale if somebody can use them as spareparts? Location however is in southern Netherlands. I tried dutch marktplaats ( marketplace ) To many jokers on there. I have a set of windscreens front and back as well at additional price. On the picture the lot for 120 Euro. One signal light glass ( front ) has a crack unfortunatly. Then another item are rare original Weber turbo carbs for 450 Euro. Basic settings with 34 mm chokes. I can not set it for whomever on what car applications. Refreshed all. So here it is in picture.

Does anybody know if Burton Power is still online? I could not find their website anymore today.

i had used it , but any good quick change? NO Maybe it is me who's shifting. But with a short lever on standard i can shift as quick. On public road it is useless.

A dirty shame that people can not respect others possession. And a motive behind steeling an old classic cars, could be for same collectors so called enthousiats for parts, or repainted and a restamped chassis vin number to registration card or paper wich had been saved and get back to "life", or shipping car to foreighn countries, but i also had read about steeling some for the demolition derby ( anyone who can tell ) I hope you understand what i wrote. I am Dutch, so keep in mind.- 1 reply

This weekend oval race on Sunday in Holland a place called Posterholt. Old short oval track. Any British folks had been there? Or do know about? This weekend i am looking forward to it, because national HotRods are there. I want to call the organisation if they could or want to have the classic hotrods racing again, like in UK.

Cheers from Germany (Escort Mk1 1.3)

Killed? I use this Valvoline VR1 now in a CVH engine. But i did drove a light modded 1600 Kent on Castrol RS 10/40 ( half synthetic ), and it did very well. No harm to anything normal use no such abuse. I run on the current Kent 1300 a MPM 15/40 mineral oil wich is not thé best but for road good, and with slick 50 added ( did tested it ) even better. -

( Na dann Herzlich willkommen. Dennis ) Now then very welcome Dennis. I had one mk1 two door. I wish i had never sold it as restoration project many years ago. Now after 12 years i have a mk2 four door ( i had them also before two door ), wich needs work, because i am afraid it wont get through M.O.T. or in German TüV this time in Oktober. -
Does somebody have these as Title says? I am looking for good used ones. Or maybe know about where to get remake new ones? See picture.
-
there is always an option to reso;lve a problem if you are handy with this all. You could get a baised pedal box intstead. without a brake servo sorry for bad english, i am very tired now, got to get to bed.. Work starts at 7 AM.

I have a set of original Italian for Turbo use Weber 40 DCOE carbs wich i did fresh up. Basic setup on jets and chokes. So anybody who is interested, PM me.

@ Johhnyboy. That is LHD or RHD trouble of it. But always a way to go around it. For sure no crossflow Kent 😄 Looks like Zetc.

Layout is just fine. But a thinker about old skool. I see Ford Fiesta MK 1 but no MK 2. Those cars i guess are oldschool too by now. Is it getting to much on having another car related menu?

85mm on a standard stroke 1600? Bit thin on the line tho. I would not reccomend such overbore. Block gets weaker by that. Cause this if need rebuild, it is over. Or re-sleeve block . I do not fancy a limit overbore anyhow. Just lil' less, at 1640 cc wich makes the grunt as well as that overkill bore engine. for sure. But ok, don' t rev it to much.
-
Matter of taste it is. But consider a dull looking Lada or may this one in picture a bit customiazed, may look a bunch more better as it came from factory as such.
-
There are more interesting cars in the Eastern DDR or Russian. Like the old Wartburg, DKW and the Zastava. Even an old Lada can be made cool with some mods. Lada had strong engines, very durable. And with some work put out good power. Picture, two stroke engine Wartburg 1960............................ I like it

Last week again the third back tooth removed, hell of pain first two days. With front tooth missing making it four in total, i become to look like as a "hillbilly" 😄 BUt ya know, as we in Holland pay or socks off with damn shit Taxes, pay 700 Euro for a fake tooth, well shove it. I rather walk around wit 4 chewers less.............. Now at Sunday lazy, just bits of doing. Yeaahaaw

I do not know how to make a Kent crossflow to 1760cc. Is there such a long stroke crankshaft wich could make the capacity numbers? You can get as much as for limit on bore size, i think about 85 mm. But no further for rebuild? A2 cam, is old school but still a fine one to match the period days in time. However were are you within rev limits?
