Very nice club stand - well done chaps! Nice to see some OSF screen stickers there too
  3. Hello and welcome … If you use the search facility you will find 14 years of information and advice on all models including the Anglia that you may find of interest/help Should keep you busy for hours!!
  4. Here's Chris … spent 2 hours queuing lol
  5. Well I've never heard of them … you learn something new everyday!
  6. Welcome to OSF
  7. Hello and welcome to OSF
  8. Hello and welcome.
  9. He did suggest I go out there but I would be sat on my own by the pool in the 5* hotel sipping cocktails all day on my own …. so I figured it wouldn't be much fun …..
  10. Thankfully my kids are too big to do this now (age 24 and 21 lol) but I used to enjoy it when they were little - but I am dreading the callers tomorrow night … normally I am not home but the usual party is at the weekend to avoid drinking on a school night … so, do I lock the doors and turn the lights off and pretend I'm not home (bah humbug) or do I get a tin of sweets in and play the game …
  11. Apologies for the late reply …. excellent photo's Looks like a damn good day for most (poor little mk2 Escort )
  12. He works for Ecu-Tek http://www.ecutek.com/ and they have a stand there every year although this is the first year he has been asked to be on the stand - how lucky eh! They were taken over back in December last year by Cobb https://www.cobbtuning.com/ who are a massive American company so there's going to be some rather big parties in the evenings I understand it lol
  13. When I first bought my RS (about 13 years ago) I applied to the DVLA using a form and paying £5 and they sent me all the old logbooks and details of all the old owners which was so interesting, however, I don't think you can do this any more - perhaps to do with the GDRP laws that are now in place? Shame really as it was great.
  14. Anyone watch it? As drag racers, we love it … my other half (for those that don't know him) Chris Todd is working in Las Vegas for a week at the mahoosive SEMA show and was taking a look around yesterday while setting up the company stand … he found these two on different stands there: Farm Truck and Jeff Lutz '57
  15. I love Dakota raceway - it's a crumbling concrete runway but it is soooo popular and they have some very quick cars there - and the drift area too and butty wagon - great day out - they even race in the rain!!
  16. I think you're right about the demographic … when I first joined the site in march 2005, it was quite small and was mostly 20 & 30 somethings who were very active but mostly in the South London/Surrey areas which is where the founder Darren lived - there were also almost weekly meets that everyone in the local area seemed to go to (Boxhill / Marquis of Granby / convoys to Wheels Day in Aldershot / impromptu blasts down to Brighton) - these don't happen anymore which is a shame as they were much fun. The site has changed a lot over the years and I do think there are far fewer younger folks on the forum but I do think perhaps we have a wider demographic now which is a plus as it was deemed to be a bit clicky to those outside of the local area. Thanks for all your views - much appreciated
  17. Well done chaps
  18. Did you know that we have lots of lovely OSF merchandise for sale in our shop from stickers to hoodies … it may be some time since you perused the store, why not take a look and treat yourself to something special for Xmas ? See here for more info : http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/ipb/index.php?/store/ Remember .. Old Skool Ford is not just for Xmas and a portion of each sale goes towards the running of the site
  19. As we approach the dark night season and the time when many park their Ford's up for the winter …. many of you keep on going and drive in all weathers and all seasons …. so …. are there any shows you know of in your area that would welcome Old Skool Ford's? Local shows or national ones … come you lot, tell us about the shows you know about that will take us up to 2019.
  20. You made me laugh out loud Marcel - I am sure the bits that fall off will fetch a good price on ebay.nl
  21. So, as we know from other posts on here, CF Show is to be at Mallory Park (near Leicester I am told ) from 2019 and this is obviously a roundy roundy venue rather than a straight line venue - this will suit some but not others and there will be opinions and preferences on both. So, if we are to continue to have the biggest club stand at Classic Ford Show, who's with us for Mallory Park? Personally, as you can see from my comment above, I have never been there and know nothing about the track/venue or the logistics of getting folk in and out - can't be any worse than Santa Pod. What's everyone's views?
