Just measure from the tail shaft of the gearbox(oil seal) to the flange on the diff your prop guys will work out the rest but tell them that Normally you would have 50% in the box 50% out To much spline in on full suspension compression the prop will smash in to the box and damage the Gear box or the prop or both Not enough spline in the gear box on full suspension drop the prop will fall out and damage the prop or could and at worse turn the car over and if you don’t turn over your rear tiers will be coated with gearbox oil either way it will end up in a nasty accident

  6. prop hoop (the hoop is off set as orignaly I intended using a small dia prop and run the exeaust thro there but the exeaust bend was to tight gearbox end so i stayed with big prop) When at ride hight the prop is in the (center/right)of hoop looking from the back

  8. Make sure it got the ratios you need I looked at one last year and it must have been used for someting strange as the ratios was no good for what I wanted road/strip

  11. Try building a Cortina then You have to cut and shut everything as eveything is made for pesky escorts

  15. I had a full resto thread on my Tina but it got deleted
  16. My cortina has got adjustable TCA's and has passed all MOT's I have got checkerplate on my peddles and have never had a problem
  17. A guy I now had BDZ 302 a paddy plate He paid £150.00 for it His name is Brian Davis the car was a zepher and it had a 302 ford in it the car is sold now but back on the orignal plate
  18. Real shame glad there ok Alot of parts of that road is trecherous as a lot of the road surface is concret so the water lays in huge puddles I have had a couple of very scary moments on it in the wet

  20. Taken from DVLA web site You can't make your vehicle look newer than it is. For example you cannot put a Y registration number on a T registered vehicle but you could choose any prefix range from an A to a T. Each registration has an issue date which is what you must check to ensure you don't make your vehicle appear newer than it is. Dose not mension new plates tho recon i need to ring them
