  1. None taken
  2. I just realised - this bombs all RS2000's - weren't they made in Germany?
  3. I used a company called 'Redeye' who are based in Surrey (I think) for my 'RS 8000' graphics. They were very good and cheap. Sorry I don't have contact details but you might find them on the net.
  4. Well I bought it in Britain and built it in Britain. I made a lot of the parts in Britain, and all of the machining work was done in Britain. Oh, and I'm a native of Britain. I hope you use capitals that big when you're commenting on the OSF cars with Vauxhall engines in them!
  5. White with blue detailing (rim stripes & makers graphic)
  6. My engine must be Old Skool - the block dates from the same year as the car - And it's a Ford!!!
  7. I only pay the various Drag clubs because I have to to enter events. Aside from that I bum around the free forums. TDA!
  8. Me neither. We've never raced it with the 'new' engine, and it should be AT LEAST 200bhp up on the old one. Shakey on the 31st March /1st April will be the first outing, just to make sure it all works. Then the Thunderball at the Pod with both me and my daughter racing. Cooool!
  9. http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... 2&start=15
  10. I'd like to try and do a couple of rounds - sounds like fun!
  11. Oh yes please!
  12. Hmmmm......I've dealt with image wheels before. Not an experience I'd like to repeat. Nuff said
  13. That was the first time we'd ever run the new engine, and the injection didn't want to play ball with the ignition. I think it's sorted now - we need some track time!!!!!!
  14. Yes, we couldn't find RS alloys in 15x15
  15. Loads more pics & info on the website guys!
  16. The pics are rubbish. You need to e-mail him & ask what diameter the valves are.
  17. Crikey, mine doesn't look like any of them. Do you think I've bought a ringer?????
  18. My youngest daughter (kissmyrs on this forum) took her test in her own mk2 Fiesta. She'd failed three times before in driving school cars. You do need to read the bumff about what you need to do to the car though (extra mirrors etc) as if this isn't done they'll bomb you straight away. Good luck!!
  19. The wife has cost me an absolute f*ck*ng fortune!!!
  20. I keep a diary just for the projects for two reasons: 1. I keep an accurate log of money spent and on what. 2. I keep an accurate log of work done and when. If you are 'during' a project and look back at the week of empty pages it really spurs you on to do something (or buy something). I also try to tie-in major purchases with holidays. For a few years now we've holidayed in the US and had parts sent to the villa we're staying in. Sad I know, but it always works for me. (RS2000 - five years and counting. £9k) (CBR 600 - Two months and counting - £346) (Mustang - still haven't collected it - £0)
  21. That's the problem with forum's like this: it's easy to character-asassinate some-one instantly, and then everyone jumps on the band-wagon. Presumed guilty whatever the reason or outcome. Like's been said we all have problems from time to time, and generally these things are resolved without bloodshed. I do a fair bit of ebaying, but I can honestly say that I have only been 'not paid' on a couple of occasions, and as I still had the items it was no real big issue. I've also had things I bought arrive VERY late, but it all arrives eventually and you have to swing with the punches. I can understand the frustration of not recieveing the promised cheque/part, I just hope that JohnnyT doesn't get pissed off and leave the ranks. Similar thing was done to me on another forum when I voiced certain points of view. I had a million PM's of support, but those people were sadly missing in the open forum. I can vouch for the fact that it makes you feel very persecuted. Don't go JohnnyT.
  22. Buy the Sapphire and then sell me the shell.....
  23. Oh THAT race-rock. Yes, we're trying to raise the funds to take the car over to Orlando. Great meeting. Been a few times and would love the Escy to be there!!!!
  24. We're probably going to run Pro-ET with the odd foray into Super-Gas and Super-Street. I'm keeping it fully road-legal though 'cos it's fun to nip down to Sainsbury's in it!!! When & where is Racerock happening?
