We've had 2 (if Rover 100 counts as a Metro) First one we had got nicked, but thety were obviously crap TWOCers because they only made it about 40 yards, didnt even get it off the close! The purple Rover 100 we had, the hydrospastic suspension collapsed, we still had to use it with the ass end right on the floor. When Mr Plod stopped Mrs Smudger, she put on the "is there something wrong with it Officer? I didn't notice, but I don't know much about cars" act

I agree, a tank slapper on a motor bike is a violent thing, and not due to driver error or shifting fuel etc. That's why some 'bokes have steering dampers, to reduce the effect if the 'bike tries to buck you off.

I got missold an AVC a few years back, they investigated, and put £36,000 in my pension! They wrote to me a few months later and said they had miscalculated, and the amount shouldn't have been £36,000, should have been £42,000.
