it doesnt actually matter how long this tube is and if you really wanted, you could run it without as there is a stop on the dipstick itself which judges how far the dipstick goes into the sump. So even if your tube is only 10mm long (I have just got a rubber tube about this length on mine to stop oil seeping out) you will still get the correct reading!!!

if your motor is all set up for a zetec then I would save your pennies on having to buy other bits to make a different engine fit and use this extra dosh to go mad on a zetec!!! There are not many 200+ bhp zetec around to my knowledge!!!
