Ive just tried about 5 scrappers to see if they have any kind of OSF there and they don't! I mean they gotta go somewhere when they die?!!? Does anyone know any decent osf scrappers in surrey? CHeers

Youu coulud try n spin the input shaft n get a screwdriver to push the synchros into each gear n look for any anomalies ... if you want...

AAh i just watched it now (its on some random sky channel i dont know) and they had a capri on it, a blue 1.6 lazer that was a bit tatty and they bought it for 400 quid. they did it right up, new wings, new paint job n loads more and they sold it for summin gay like 700 quid and they said it wasnt worth much anyway :// buggers.

Exactly what work what need doing to a cossie head if say i wanted to put one on a pinto block with carbs? would the ports need openin up or summin?

Has anyone ever fitted one, to say like a pinto engine? And know the availability of parts like bellhousings n whether you have to change the input shaft etc? I might be getting one free from work Cheers

The thing is my dad sold it to a capri collector so there's a chance he might not have scrapped it and it's sitting in a lock up somewhere... Is there absolutelt no way i can find out who owns it without hiring some detective?

could i not do one of those checks where i pay the dvla and they tell me all the keepers etc.?

cracks on the tyre arent a failure unless you can see the cords. And I had the problem with my rear anti roll bar on MOT where the bush had come out of the eye and that is a failure.
