Life is Fickle there is no two ways about that….
eighteen moths ago, My Mum who was 46 was ill, she went to the docs, said she had a chest infection, gave her some anti biotics and sent her on her way. A week passed of she was taking the meds but getting no better, slightly worse in fact. So my Dad took her to hospital…they said the same thing, although now she had a pain in her back. They put this down to pulling a muscle whilst coughing, gave her some more anti biotics and some pain killers for her back…
A few days passed and she was getting no better so Dad took her back to Hospital where they done some tests, hesitantly after Dad was adamant that is was something more then a chest infection…He was right.
They diagnosed she has Small Cell Carcinoma of the lung, lung cancer and gave her 2-5 days to live.
She was transferred to the Royal Marsden in Sutton who put her into Palliative care (which is just making you as comfortable as possible until the end) she was put into a medicinal induced coma and she died 11 Days later. Worst day of my life.
I had a Tattoo in her memory on my arm, it reads “AGO PRO VITA” Latin for “Live for Life”, you never know what’s gonna happen and cant plan shit so just live how you want when you want the only limitations are your imagination.
