I just cant work out why it was fine for 3 months and now in one week its gone like this, I know its been very wet but it really has come out of the blue.

i've googled it and apparantly it can be caused by very small bits of dirt or grit under the paint, it can stay under the paint for months, it soaks up moisture and blisters the paint. funny thing is the roof is fine as is most the boot and the bonnet! when prepping i used a tack cloth followed by pannel wipe, obviously that wasn;t enough.

nope just left it a day or two to dry i just asked because i had trouble with a car when it was in primer for a while, sounds like a bare metal job and start fresh can't aford that, thats why I sprayed it myself, might end up having to sell or brake the car. I have no money

I painted it 3 months ago, it's looked great for 3 months and has just gone bad in the last week! what could cause it? I have sprayed a car before and this has not happened to it, was dry when sprayed and cleaned with pannel wipe

my respray is f***ed!!!! all down the sides of the car it has blistered!!! it looks like it has chicken pocks, it has happened in a week, i polished the car last weekend and all was fine, washed it today and it's alll shagged, I'm devistated, any one know whats happened?? is it somthing to do with the shear volume of rain we have had? they are hard and chip off if i pick at them, at first I thought somone had sprayed it with brake fluid but they are hard blisters not soft. I really am heatbroken and dont know what to do

damn! I've already started with the smaller image. I have been strugling with an idea as to what to do with this one. Can't wait to see what people have come up with.

my pasinger foot well was soaking wet the other week, never done it before and hasn't done it since, I think the freak rain is just to much for our old cars to hold back.

Whats it worth? It's past the last 3 mots since I welded it up. Original wings and wheel archs in great condition, paint is flaking off in places, re spray is really bad, more of a rat then a minter. Rust on scuttle and boot, otherwise pretty good. Good runner, never let me down in 3 years. Polished rims are abit stained and some of the tyres are startng to crack. Lowered -2", dixie airhorns and de bumpered. Blowing exhaust. Windows are pretty bad, all splattered from the grinder! (lesson learned from that lol). Would make a great every day run around. I'm still not sure if I should sell yet or not. Please note it looks better in the pics then it does in real life

Hopfully I will be putting a 1.6 back axle mated to a lsd and also fit a cossie v6. Then i'll be needing some new rear tyres pretty soon after that

I got rid of all the trim, including the badge on the c pillar. I made the front grill shiney, rear door handle taken off, slammed, wheel archs, wide rims, side boy kit, tinted windows, black seats, painted gunmetel grey, removed filler cap and added a more modern mirror!

I'm a physics student but dosn't mean I know everything there is about cars! Maybe he was smart just not clued up on motors? Is it dumb to not know what somthing does and ask, or to not know what somthing does and not ask? Still I think everyone that owns a car should know a fair amount about how it works !
