Type 5 V6 box also has the bell housing bolted on with the bolts on the outside, not inside the bell housing. That box does not have the "Ears", for external bolting of the bell housing.

That's an easy one !!?? There is an Eye exam chart on the wall, so the guy at the back is just checking over the patients "Brown Eye" before he proceeds further with the exam. Or the patient has something in his belly button, and the Doctor is removing it "From the inside".

Here we have a type 37 casting (1600) semi chambered Crossflow GT head. It was removed from a 681F 1600 GT Crossflow from a Capri MK1, so as to fit 711M type pistons and flat 711M head. I have removed the valves to have the head checked for cracks and have lost 1x set of valves for one cylinder, so I am selling the head as bare, but it will have the valves, collets, spring, top hat etc, etc that I still have in bags for the other 3 cylinders, the missing one will no doubt turn up after I have sold and moved on the head. £50.00 plus post to UK address only. Also have a 1600 711M short block for recon, T16 block, complete with crank, cam, pistons and rods, nothing else £110.00 North Wales.

I have both 8 inch & 9 inch complete rear drum brakes, both off Capri MK1's Pre-facelifts (English axle). Both sets are the back plates, drum's, shoe's & brake cylinders, both good condition, but would advise both sets would benefit from new cylinders, as they have been inactive for a number of years on the shelf in the garage. I am no where near Surrey, but North Wales. If any good to you, 9 inch set is £110.00 plus post. Regards.

Hi, Already sold the NOS spotlights early on this year sorry, but I have found in the garage this week end, a used glove box and a centre console, the glove box is black, the console not 100% sure if it is brown or black, will get it out today in day light and check. Also found new front/rear bumpers for Ghia/GL models, (bare, without rubber strip on), 2x sets of Ghia square headlamps complete with back buckets, 4x pairs of all 4 door skins for 4 door models, 1x new boot lid, 1x complete new rear lamp saloon N/S, all brand new genuine Ford, I will just have to add a few as I go on, as there is stuff all over the place at the moment. It is a full boxed set with rubbers/screws/washers and all the installation bits & bobs. I have had this since the late 70's, my own Escorts have fixed quarter lights and I did at one time want to convert one to opening style, but as I have done approx 4 miles in the last 20 years in them, I don't think I will miss the extra cooling air flow coming into the car. For sale a used AX Crossflow block. Bare block with it's matching main caps, block is at standard bore but used, bores have been glaze busted with a honing tool, I do not have the tools to measure bore wear, but I assume it will need a first re-bore cut. Block has been phosphoric acid dipped, and wiped over with Balistol gun cleaning spray to keep block clean, and is wrapped in cling film. Will do deal on AX block and my 681F crossflow engine so the engine can be built up. No swaps or anything like that, £500.00 AX block and offers on the 681F Crossflow engine. For sale is a Ford Crossflow 1600 GT 681F Block & Head, was running great, been removed to fit Pinto. I have not had the head off since I have had it, so I can only assume it is an early Semi chambered head (18cc). It is a complete built up block/head, minus the following SUMP/PICK-UP PIPE REAR COVER FRONT COVER TIMING GEAR/CHAIN FLYWHEEL/FRONT PULLEY OIL SEPERATOR ALTERNATOR/BRACKET DISTRIBUTOR INLET/EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. It has pushrods, rocker gear, rocker cover, oil pump, water pump. £200.00 North Wales.

I have for sale a 1600 711M Crossflow block. It is just a block with crank/rods/pistons/camshaft/oil pump/water pump. There is no sump/oil pick up pipe/flywheel/timing chain-gears etc-etc, just a short motor. Only done 39k, but water got down the carb at some point in storage and water got into No3 cylinder and the rings rusted to the bore, so it is for rebuild. It is standard on everything, bore's, cranks mains and big ends all standard, crank is good and does not require grinding, just a clean up, will need new shells as I have lost a couple. Mains caps and bolts all in place. My lad was going to use it for something in the future, but has decided he won't ever use it for anything, so it is now in my way of getting to my lawnmower (I wonder if I could fit it on that !!??). There is a possible chance that No3 bore will hone clean, and then it is just a re-ring/re-shell. £150.00 no offers sorry.

I used "SPECIALISED ENGINES" once, and NEVER again. Bought a Crossflow head off them ST2, the outer valve guide boss on No3 inlet was snapped off flush with the head, and just a "K Line" guide insert was sticking up through the head, nothing for the seal to sit on, so they did not bother to fit a seal. Got in touch with them as was told " NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HEAD WHEN WE SENT IT OUT" and he just put the phone down on me while I was talking. No never again, they are bad, but I have had items including a 1700 crossflow bottom end from "VULCAN" and that was excellent.

Hi, The 255 cam is a very-very mild road cam, it is just ever so hotter than a standard 1500 GT cam, and are called a "HIGH TORQUE" road cam. No difference in idle speed or quality of the standard GT cam, but around +8 BHP mid range with increased torque all through the rev range. There are 270 & 285 duration profiles as well, they will give bigger increased BHP gains, but the idle quality drops and so does the torque for "Town Driving", that is why I wanted the 255 "High Torque". I prefer more low down power/torque rather than increased power at say +5500/7500 RPM, the 255 is a very good road cam, from idle to 6500 RPM.

I have a brand new Newmans 255 Camshaft for a 1500GT, bought it new for a "High Torque" engine, 255 is ever so slightly just above a standard camshaft (the next available after standard). £85 posted. if any good. Regards.

For sale a non reground 1600 Crossflow crank and new mains/big ends. From 711M T20 block, 27k miles. Journals are all standard size (9 of them) and does not require grinding, does have staining on the journals from oil.
