antz Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 done! i like the idea of 25year old free road tax
aled Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Done, but it will never happen. They will never be seen to reverse a decision and they would be throwing tons of money away with the recent surge in classic cars interest.
prefectopop Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Done and Done - lets see if it makes a difference. Democracy at work there guys.
john_3.0s Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Just worked out that would save me £700 odd quid a year! DONEEEEEEEE
sab6024 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 I was on the No 10 site the other day having a look and there was about 3 or 4 for the 25 yr Tax thing. I signed them all. Also to get rid of speed humps Go on and have a look
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 I signed this a while ago now, but I have heard news that we are not going to like. Apparently, due to the sudden rise in tax exempt cars that have hit the roads (Yeah... Where???) they are thinking of limiting the tax & insurance on classic cars for show purposes only I personally can't see how this is possible, but be warned people, they are drawing these plans up.

Nooooooo! They can't do that. What about the peeps who only have a Classic to drive around in? My Capri is taxed and insured all year round because I need a back up car for work in case my plastic don't start
