Am I getting old or does this irritate others?

Driving into work this morning, the prat in the car in front of me rolls down his window and empties his ash tray out the door onto the road, it's closely followed by a few bits of rubbish he has floating around in there.

 

I look around and the sides of the road are littered with crap that people have thrown out their car windows, everything from Mcdonalds wrappers to hankies and coke cans. It's more noticeable this morning as the long grass and bushes at the side of the road were trimmed back yesterday.

 

Don't start me on motorists flicking lit fag ends out their windows either, I've had one of those come through my visor at 60mph on my bike.

 

Do these muppets not realise that all this crap has to be cleared up? This obviously has to be paid for, and as it's the local council that cleans it up it's our council tax bills that suffer!

I'm the same. If I have any rubbish, it gets slung in the back of the car, and is emptied out when I clean it. O.k, I have put the occasional fag end out the window, but if I am on the street, I put it in the gutter and stamp it out.

I keep a bag in the car for all my rubbish and believe me there's loads. People who throw rubbish out of their cars do me head in. I have noticed that in a couple of villages I work that there are locals who go around and pick up all the rubbish. Bless 'em but why should they? Selfish motorists
