105Speed Posted May 5, 2007 Author Report Posted May 5, 2007 so what power did it make? The original Raymond Mays spec, with the ally head and triple SU's was rated at 150bhp But the car has done so few miles over its like it probably needs a proper set up. But.... Who cares... when it looks like that....

ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 I've got a video of it on the rollers... Give me a bit of time (went out as soon as I got home and only just got back!) and I'll get it posted. But it was gorgeous....
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 Here we go. Listen for Troy having problems changing gear. He had to be shown by the owner how to do it on the column change.

RUSTYPUP Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 That is a beautiful car. I've never seen one before. This coming weekend I have the pleasure of taking one of Raymond Mays much earlier creations to Wiscombe Park for a hill climb. Its a 1936 ERA called hanuman 2 r12b http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.ph ... arnum=2049 It puts out around 180 bhp and its only 1500cc!!!! Oh, and I have to start it on a cranking handle If any of you are in Devon, it should be a really cool petrolhead weekend! Not sure about how many Fords will be racing but you just never know what will turn up.
