Tom Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Fit under mk2 RS 4 spokes? need to know whether its worth all this effort i'm putting in making good of these calipers cheers
V8ian Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 They fit under Lotus type steels so I would thinh Alloys shouls not be a problem, I think I tried 285 discs as well on Capri 4 spokes and the princess calipers only just fouled
Admin Vista Posted May 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 11, 2007 Yes they do, if you're fitting them with a spacer kit for vented discs, it's worth getting a pair of Rally designs 257mm discs as they overhang the edge of the standard 2.8i capri disc. RD part number for these is PR257 for plain ones and PR257D for cross drilled ones
Tom Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 cheers guys - are those discs expensive? i've got a new pair of 2.8 vented onesin the garage i think they'll have to do for now
Admin Vista Posted May 11, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 11, 2007 I've got a 2005 catalogue in front of me, they were £34.75 ea for the plain ones and £49.75 for the X- drilled ones then. I was quoted £91.65 inc of delivery for a pair of plain ones then, but like you had a pair of barely used 2.8i discs so stuck with them.
ratman Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Princess 257mm Discs - Escort Princess 4-Pot Conversion Plain £34.75 Princess 257mm Discs - Escort Princess 4-Pot Conversion X-Drille £49.75 off there web site tonight the price is each but glad to see there not put prices up for at least 2 years I used to have Princess 4-Pots under 10x13 revo and compo turbos so can see why they wont fit ur 4 spokes
