That's on the way to Meltham, Huddersfield isn't it... Simon (Juby) goes there quite often in his line of work. He took me last year. Have you been in the yard behind? There's capris, some cortinas, granadas etc, all in various states. One capri is engine less (the shell looks ok), with no bonnet, and there's a tree growing there instead.

Open to offers  but has had a bid of £3500 from a guy in ireland :(

If its that mint i would expect it to go for a lot more than that aswell on the dreaded flea-bay :?:?

I spoke to Simon (Juby) today who visits there regular in his job. He's got a Capri in too. I can't remember that much about it, but it's in similar condition to the Escorts - nice and original. He was open to offers on that too. He was offered £10k for it and turned it down, so you can kinda guess what sort of money he's after for the scort.

Yeah - i've got to know the guy well here. The Capri used to be parked next to the gold un !! is it still there ? The Capri 2.8 had 5000 miles from new he bought it for his son who had it for a year and got bored of it. He put it in the showroom in 1988 and it stayed there ever since. I was trying to buy it off him but he just was not interested. The last time I spoke to him about the Capri he said he was going to get it legal again and take it to some shows. It might be in the workshop.. He said he was getting rid of the cars in the compound - all only really good for spares...

He used to have a mint Zodiac mk2 cabrio but he sold that to a guy down london way for a stupid amount.

If you want any of em you'll have to pay top dollar, he'll sit on em forever if he has to. That mk2 Escort was a part ex from years ago !!!!!!
