The fez tailgate. This was in perfect nick before.

 

 

If you look at the front of a MK1 escort you will see this shape just under the grill.

 

 

Rear valance mangled.

 

 

And now the mex.....

 

You can't really see from this pic but the front of the wing has been squashed flat. The paint has cracked.

 

 

Because the quarter bumper took most of the impact the damage was around the mounting point on the wing.

 

 

So, not too bad but I could still do without the agro! Still, every cloud and all that
