I have to say that the beige rs2k in july's CF mag is stunning and I have massive admiration for the guy's skill to get it like that!

However I'd love to own it and take it for a blast around some country lanes and get it nice and dirty :shock::shock:

i have been lucky enough to see this car for real and its stunning, pics dont show just how good it is,credit to ian for the build

Correct Tim, My Fiesta has paint markings all over it that I found under layers of wax when I was striping it down.

I visited the owner last night to cast a second pair of eyes over the car. And yes, it is definately a top motor :D

Cant wait to have another look round it now :D

It'll be on display in all its glory at the Classic Ford show this Sunday on the Classic Ford stand. No touching, poking or sticky fingers allowed... that refers to both the car and the CF staff!

He's got a nice engine already , just skip that shitty ford air box though as it kills the power . Mind you if he don't ever drive it then there's no point anyway !!!!!!!!:lol::lol:

i understand the passion and dedication to do it and to show it off all this year to set the benchmark although I think it was a concorde moment and will never happen again .

But i dont understand itll never be driven nonsense . Prove the point and he sure did , But after the show season juts drive the best restored car in the land and enjoy what that will bring ...

Its an expensive ornament .
