Capri_Steve Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Chill out OHC no one wants to split a site in half so getting sarcy about that is pointless. Is it that hard to see our point? If so get you're cataracts sorted gramps
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 10, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 10, 2006 Jo only gets second prize in the sarcasm stakes btw we were all 'scrotes' once too lol .... forgot about you mate Oh, and I was never a scrote

over_head_cam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Chill out OHC no one wants to split a site in half so getting sarcy about that is pointless. Is it that hard to see our point? If so get you're cataracts sorted gramps So what you're saying is that you have a valid point and I don't then? And anyway I do see your point, I just don't happen to see it the same way. Come up with a rational argument and I'll be glad to be proven wrong. Oh yeah, don't take the piss.
antz Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 come on people what are we arguing for? its stupid. we shouldnt let a little idea get between us all.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 10, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 10, 2006 Oh yeah, don't take the piss you pesky young whippersnapper.
over_head_cam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Funny Jo (stirrer ) And I'm not arguing. I'm debating
Mr Sam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 as above its easier talking to people your own age, i still not talked to many of you bar the fiesta boys and a few others must talk to more this weekend..........we should all have name tags, make introductions easier
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 10, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 10, 2006 Mr Sam ..... I challenge you to come over and say Hi to me this week-end There you go ..... you can do it
over_head_cam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 we should all have name tags, make introductions easier Good idea mate. I thought it might be a good idea to have a copy of our sig on a t shirt
Mr Sam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Mr Sam ..... I challenge you to come over and say Hi to me this week-end There you go ..... you can do it hehe seen you in caption competition photos so reccon ill recconise you yeah that would be an idea or just a small badge with an OSF logo your user name and your real name, as people like me have tendancies to chop and change sigs on a regular basis
over_head_cam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 . . . . as people like me have tendancies to chop and change sigs on a regular basis youngsters today
over_head_cam Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Harmony as per usual at osf Bolliks
Tom Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 ooooh these youngsters nowadays, you talk to them too fast and they start dancing! i was listening to 'their' music the other day and it sounded like a bleedin' auction tsk tsk no, but really. come up have a chat introduce yourself. i had to do it once and look where i am now. this site is all about the cars and the banter, friendship, relationships - kids in one case- no one is ever not welcome but if you guys haven't got the stones to introduce yourself no ones ever gonna know who you are no really oh yeah, sorry for being sarcy steve - lowest form of wit and all that
Gibson Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 all we wanted was too not get caned up the strip
Messenjah Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 lol WOOAAHH calm down ppl especially you ohc its not we dont want to associate with ppl older then 25 ... it was just an idea for a group of the younger guys (and girls) to meet ..... i dont see why having a young guns meet for the younger guys on here is any different to having a meet in a particular area for ppl who live in that area i really dont see why some of you guys seem to be against it soo much can you explain ?
Capri_Steve Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 I wasnt taking the piss but never mind. I just don't wanna meet people and say things like "cool" and get a blank look back Serious now, i'll just come up the osfdc normally, with a handicap, and see what happens.
Mark2Mark Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 It would be nice to have a YOSF meet, but the meets for areas work well because people don't need to travel as far for a night meet, but if you are catering soley for younger people it is a question of where to have it or weather to have area meets but you could not always guarantee the numbers
Burns Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 i'm one of the whipper snappers (22 ) and i would have no problems with going up to anybody and introducing myself, i mean what's the worst that's gonna happen? i havn't talked to anyone on this or any other forum who are into osf's that aren't genuinely nice people. if i eventually get to a meet i'll talk to anyone regardless of who they are. i don't see any problems with racing up the strip with anyone of any age (although it would be nice to line up against a mate) after all, it's the taking part aint it? ps. i'd feel really out of place at a chav fest outside tesco's on a sunday night, it's not about being old, it's about actually about appreciating cars
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 11, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 11, 2006 Well said Mr Burns Mark, I get what you're saying about the younger element at the general meets.... if that is the case, why don't you all agree to go to one of the bigger meets .... like this week-end at the Pod and then have your own mini-meet if you are that bothered about mingling with people your own age Steve - I think you had better make sure you put a big sticker on yourself (our eyesight is getting bad ) so that we know who you are and we will come over and talk to you if you can't bring yourself to talk to us ... oh, and we have been known to say Cool occasionally ourselves For those of you young whippersnappers who don't give two hoots how old the rest of us are, come over and join in the conversation ..... oh, and contrary to popular belief, us oldies don't smell of wee
over_head_cam Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Mmmm. Let me see if I got this right. Some of the younger members believe that being skint and having slow cars is exclusive to them. Some of the younger members want a separate meet to which the older members are not welcome, because if they were it would be a normal meet like the ones we have all the time where EVERYBODY is welcome Someone correct me if I'm wrong
