BaileyMex Posted August 8, 2007 Author Report Posted August 8, 2007 Hi People Just got off the phone with a guy at DAYTONA Racing @ Sandown Park, he sounded up for us having the event with them and told me all about the course and karts etc Proposed date SUNDAY 16th SEPTEMBER or 7th OCTOBER Out door circuit see below video http://www.daytona.co.uk/movies/movie1.wmv Karts are Twin Engine Pro Honda 160cc, which should be quick enough for us Now onto the costs We can do two different types of event A Knock out Heat Event Or A Team Endurance Event I know that we are all of different shapes and sizes and a mixture of novice and experienced drivers, so I want it to be as fun for everyone as possible So I was thinking of the Team Endurance, as it would give EVERYONE as much time on the track as possible. But please feel free to discuss.................. COSTS Knockout Heat Event £59.50 Per Driver Or Team Endurance Event Minimum of 15 teams at roughly 2-4 people per team choice of... A 2 HOUR Event @ £210 Per Team Or A 1.5 HOUR Event @ £185 Per Team So if we went for the endurance race and there were four people per team then the two-hour race would only be £52.50 each, a bit cheaper than a knock out, Trophies are awarded to the top three either Teams or individuals whichever way we go Either way the costs above would include some cold refreshments and light snacks provided by ourselves, although there are facilities there where you can get drinks and hotdogs etc….. It should be a wicked day, the last one we held, which was organised by Ben was a right laugh, the banter and chuckles lasted weeks………..NO REALLY If you want to do this, please can you all let me know for sure ASAP as we need to book it up soon and get monies in
