Dom Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-POPULAR-BLAC ... dZViewItem The latest edition to our OSF family of 7, 8 as soon as we pick it up . No signs of it getting any smaller either
lotusless Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 that looks a right bargain a lovely addition to your family.
Dom Posted June 19, 2007 Author Report Posted June 19, 2007 I think it'll stay standard for a while, do think there maybe some arguing over who gets the hot xflow though. Knowing my family it'll be in bits soon enough
Delotus Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 What a sweet little honest motor. A genuine bargain i'd say too. Yeah go for the hot xflow, they rule. Tim
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 You got a smokey deal on that mate... wish I had seen it... Jim loves a Black 2 door pop Keep us updated with your plans.... BTW, hows your Green Mk1 Capri getting on??
Jarrodm Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Don't do the hot cross flow ! I've got a 100e, and with a few aquaplane goodies you can make them quite nippy ! And when was the last time you saw a hot sidevalve engined 100e ? Type in aquaplane on ebay, the 4 items that come up (minus the book !) will really smarten it up Nice motor !

LOL, that would be different... imagine the following senario... *Take 100e to Santa Pod after doing engine work to Side Valve... May cost a few ££££££ Flip Mode 100e up the strip..... £15 say Take pictures of everyones faces when they realise it is a baby side valve between the wings!!! ££££ PRICELESS*
Jarrodm Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Ha, I'll throw a few of my own ideas at ya ? Right, electronic ignition and turbo off of a late metro, That'll take a weekend at the most ! Bore and stroke obviously ! Aluminun block from aquaplane Lightened fly wheel Adapter plate with anglia box on it. All fiberglass panels, REALLY easy to get hold of. 4 branch exhaust and stainless pipes, You coud make it yourself ! leave the interior stock, it weighs nothing anyway ! Get some wheels machined up (i baught 6 blank wheels beulieu autojumble for 40 quid ! just set up a pcd !!!) All of these parts are readily avaliable through aquaplane.co.uk or autojumbles/ebay ! Sound fun ? and different ? Jarrod
