flyingbanana Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 merc amg...which is a m8 car and pug 309 gti...unfort couldnt open it up has had a cop car behind me ...but it was quick
luz008 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 i borrowed an evo6 for a week when i friend was taken home from work ill and couldnt drive. it was mental - 420bhp - accelerated all the way to 155 (limited) then suddenly stopped i was so gutted to give it back - the handling was phenomenal as well
Osgood Isgood Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 My 260Z....the hairiest moment being aqua-planing late one night on the M4 when the clock was reading 125! That got the adrenalin going I can asure you! Come to think of it though, I've never really had an out and out ball breaker of a speed freak car! The BGTV8 was fairly rapid but handled like shite, and althought the 260Z got to that 125 on the clock, I suspect the true figure was nearer 115/120. All about ambience and aesthetics for me, and I can have just as much fun round the lanes of Berkshire in my Anglia as I could at 100mph+ on a straight bit of motor-way!
Copey Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 fastest car i have driven is my capri tbh, had it at 120mph and had to ease off coz ther was a big roundabout in front of me, oh and some slower moving cars!
X-pack-Glyn Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 355 GTS on me wedding day with bride in tow, we was going quite fast... aspirated power at its best!! (and thats just the wife!).
X-pack-Glyn Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 pug 309 gti...unfort couldnt open it up has had a cop car behind me ...but it was quick 309 gti i think you need to drive a few more cars mate, i had a few of em as demos, and the bigger brothers the MI16's which were fairly quick but stopped revving dead at 7000 rpm, if it went to 9 it would have been a flyer.
Stu_B Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 My old Jetta Gt was the fastest car I've driven fast but the fastest car I've driven is my ex's TT.
negri Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 fastest ive went in a car - 130ish (private road ) fastest car ive drove - only got too about 25 m/h though will be other cars ive driven that ive forgotten about
flyingbanana Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 pug 309 gti...unfort couldnt open it up has had a cop car behind me ...but it was quick 309 gti i think you need to drive a few more cars mate/quote] .....ive driven plenty of cars over the years...but i wont risk losing my licence esp has its my living to drive
Von Loxlee Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 only driven a clio and my capri properly so its my capri! yay for me although i had an indicated 130 out of it which was prob about 115 maybe a bit more
RFChris Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Thats the fastest car i have driven(well, not that particular one, but you get the idea) but i didn't drive it fast as it was my bosses car. But it was nice to just go 35mph!
