ZetecVan 2.0 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 First car I restored was a mini. I've owned 4 and was even in Mini World magazine. You don't see them about so much now which is a shame.
Gareth Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Minis are a much better sight to behold that corsas Especially a yellow 1275 GT flat front on black revo's, with big white arches, buckets' cage and nothin else inside gettin caned around roundabouts.
mk2_escort_chick Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 I've got one that i've had for about 5 yrs now. It's just a rolling shell- but we've got a 1.3 engine and gearbox to go in it...eventually! I love mini's. I want 8 of them- you might be thinking "why does she want 8?" The reason I want 8 is because it's my favourite number. But I'm a long way off reaching my target as we;re strapped for cash and space.
Wessie Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 ur welcome 2 a few of mine we keep gettin them but we dont have any room
X-pack-Glyn Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Had 9 of em in various states of tune, cant beat a unfiltered DCOE coming through the dashboard!!! had 125 out of one of mine, the in thing then was to rob MG metros of thier engines and fit them.
flyingbanana Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 the in thing then was to rob MG metros of thier engines and fit them. still is today...thats where my 1275 came from....fit stright in

Dom Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 We've got a lovely british racing green one at the mo with white alloys, looks brilliant. My dad knows a bloke who does a Xflow conversion, screaming 1700 anyone? We're toying with the idea of a RWD mini, a bike engined one, and an XE engined jobby
Gareth Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Anyone see the v-tec powered GT in Retro Cars
