mk2 capris ware are they gone

why is it i think the mk2 capri is rarer than the mk1 as i have not seen that many just latley past 3 to 4 years why didnt they catch on like the mk1 ive only owned 2 mk2 in the last 5yrs and owned 3 mk1s in the last 2yrs even on ebay you dont see that many compared to the other capris ive put a pic on of mk2 take no notice of the mk1 do have better pics of mk2 on other pc as any-body got one they use regular as would love to see more mk2

that one was sold about 2 yr ago wish i still had it though as was one owner with 54000 on clocks and garaged all its life

i dont no lots had the sq lights removed in favor of the mk3 lights,id like a old mk2 now if you no what i mean like a gear or s model spotted mk2 the other day but the bloke wont sell it white in colour but is green now same old story im doing it up

Allways happens when a model is "facelifted" Mk4 cortina is the rarest at the mo, How many Mk1 sierras do you see that aint a cossie or XR (sorry about the swear words)

Same with granadas, how many prefacelift Mk2's do you see?

Isn't the biggest reason likely to be the short production life?

 

The mk1 ran from 69 to late 74

 

The mk2 from late 74 to mid 78

 

Mk3 78 - 86/87 (depending who you ask)
