-1 or 2 inches :)

 

what do peeps reckon? i dont want to have any issues with scrubbing, but theres never any people in the back, tyres are 205/60/13".

 

any help apreciated, and this is how it is atm. :thumbsup:

thanks muchly. i should be ordering the parts tomoz. my gut is to go with the -1 inch, but i think if i oculd get away with 2 it'd look better. i dunno :huh::thumbsup:

As low as physically possible mate, -2" is nothin

yeah, but look at the sze of your tyres to mine :lol: , i need this done by the weekend, and i cant afford new tyres. i think i'll try 2" though ,i'll have a measure tonight :thumbsup:

I chose as low as i could go and still get the trolly jack under the front crossmember. Too low and its a pain to work on.

yeah i know :lol: my orion is -60mm with 2 coils cut off, you have to lift it onto the jack :lol: looks 'ard though!! 8) i just want it to look abit better, like i said when i get home i'm gonna measure the arch gap. :thumbsup:

Check out Rebel MCs rat look mk2 Cortina in 'The Rat Look' thread. That's running 145lb -2" springs on the front and a set of 2" lowering blocks on the back. Will give you some idea of what you should be aiming for (in my opinion). Page 2 or 3 I think.

im going like dom as low as you can possable go as i think they look the bo**ks like that i want to drop my mk1 at least 3 inchs :thumbsup:

deffo 2" mate, LUKEY has lowered his 1600E 2" and it looks quality!

i'd love mine to look that cool, still concerned about the tyres, but fook it, its going 2". if it rubs too much i'll just have to take them off again. :) its got to be tried.
