DEP Posted July 31, 2007 Report Posted July 31, 2007 I'm not going either , too much plastic on show . I've seen all the proper oldskool cars before anyway so i'm going fishing instead Its an attitude like that, which is the reason why that not many old skool cars go now, just think, if the same amount of old skool cars that attended Classic Ford show went to Ford Fair, it would be alot more even

It's about more than the cars though, what about the people? The social event? The track action? The autojumble? Besides if you don't like the more modern stuff then don't look at it. I'm not into more modern Fords either but if I had the time available I'd be going.
antz Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 i agree with vista. ive spoke to loads of people who arent going cos of the plastic but we need to show up to keep the old skool alive! dont look at the plastic if thats not your thing and have a good day out
Noodles Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 I dont mind some of the plastic as long as its done well, I likes what I likes, I can appreciate hard work when I see it
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 thats there thing oldskools ours but we all put our hard work and money into these cars so go and enjoy
Mr Sam Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 im out car is on show at leicester motor show, at least i wont end up spending money there or racing it so i can carry on saving for the next osf your way down south arent you? ive got a spare 1100 fly if its not to late?
Guest MK1gaz Posted August 1, 2007 Report Posted August 1, 2007 It's true what you say mr vista but i see the oldskool people and cars all the time anyway . I don't bother looking at the plastic unless something catches my eye ( not fooooooking often ) and the track racings shit too watch as you can only see the cars drive past for 3 seconds every lap . I went last year and was bored shitless
james p Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 I dont mind some of the plastic as long as its done well, I likes what I likes, I can appreciate hard work when I see it im with that there was a mk2 fiesta 1.1 that was mint with a 2.0 black top last year
