naff? have to say, i tried joining their forum some time ago, the password setup balls'd up and I couldn't get in - emailed their support twice for help, no response. as far as i'm concerned they can keep their 'naff' scene.

 

also stopped buying the mag a while back - it seemed to me the 'practical' ideal was being lost as more and more expensive items were being covered.

Whenever I'm out in My mk1 I get thumbs-up all the time from pedestrians and passing motorists, I even had a lorry driver on the M25 (in traffic! ) roll down his window and start asking me all about the car, praising it and saying how great it was to see them still on the road - I don't think I'd get the same respect on the roads in some plastic Jap Rice-Rocket or a chav Hot Hatch!

i know its not as fun if you lose like i did in the cortina when the original engine (god rest its soul) it did a 19.1 but the smile on my face was worth it

 

and if you have a slower car it means you get more track time
