Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 13, 2007 Admin Report Posted September 13, 2007 It seems that there are quite a few of us around the Farnham/Farnborough/Fleet/Alton/Aldershot areas and so I am trying to see what response there would be for a pub meet in the area. Also, any suggestions for a good place to meet with a nice car park So ... where are you and what do you think?? I'm actually in Bordon.
SmokeEm Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I'd be up for that Jo! - Thurday evenings always best for me though.. Maybe we could decend on the Pricess Royal on the old Hogs back? Huge car park & no speed bumps locally?

SmokeEm Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Okay ... is that the one with the huge conservatory out the front near Seale? Think so - If you were coming from Bordon, you would turn onto Hogs back, off at 1st exit & cross over bridge. Turn right and its 100yds on right. Big place - food etc excellent and large rear car park. Worth a try possibly. There's even a Hotel/Lodge located on the property now.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 13, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted September 13, 2007 yes, I know the one ..... not been there for many years .... I think the car park is quite big too isn't it?? http://www.ukpubfinder.com/pub/28401 Let's see what the others say Also, what's best for people .... week-day evening, Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon??? Let's have your views peeps

Jay_harrier Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 How about the Phoenix at Phoenix Green? big car park and has a lot of history with the vintage/classic cars so the management should be welcoming. A quaint pub too. Its on the A30 near Hartley Wintney & used to have the rolling road & Weber tuning workshop in the coachworks. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... search.srf Or we could think about taking over the Lord Derby at Odiham from the bike crew on a Wednesday! wheelies, burnouts & crashes optiional! The Ely on the A30 near Camberley/Yately easy reach of M3, A30 etc
emu Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I can recommend a couple of pubs within staggering distance of my house
