Jay_harrier Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Bad luck Tony, that went in a big way - scary stuff especially if it'd done that on the strip or nipped the fuel lines Definately looks like the pressure plate went by the nature of the fracture & subsequent shearing, a closer look of pic 11 (I think) looks as if it could have started at the 5 o clock hole then the piece ripped out at the 2 o clock hole and its all over. Do you know what revs pressure plates are rated to? Seriously bad luck though mate.
