davers3100 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Just a note to say thank you very much to the kind person who has just removed and stolen my valve caps from my RS 31oo Capri at the Old Skool Ford meeting tonight at Ashford. Next time buy your own!!! Love going to these meetings, it's a shame some people have to spoil it for others. Dave ( very annoyed)

Daggle Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 There was a lot of kids and plastic lovers about as well as yank stuff though , I think the word must have got about what was going on. Probably won't be long before we are banned from this one due to the amount of ppl leaving the area wheel spinning away. Sorry to hear about your caps mate, tossers
stu Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 hand up guilty. ( wheel spinning ) not into fu*king about with peoples pride & joy . not my thing . sorry 2 hear that puts a downer on the nite .
mk1escortmad Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 every time i put nice shiney valvecaps on my wheels they go missing within a week or maybe two if im lucky. it amazes that someone would steel something as petty as a valvecap nowadays, proberley a chav wanting one for there BMX or Ped

Duke3s Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Ive had 2 sets go now mate - right pisses you off eh?! just use the standard black plastic ones now to save the hassel
Rick Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 thats shit. at least they didnt steal anything more valuable
davers3100 Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 Thanks for all the support. It's annoying and not too costly to put right but I have had the car on the road for over 6 years and never had any problems before. Guess the dark evenings now help these low lifes!! Dave
Smudger105e Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Can't you put a grub screw in the side of the caps so they won't unscrew without an allen key?
Rick Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 thats a good idea actually. its a shame we have to go to such measures to protect out property/ chop off the little bastards fingers i say
Smudger105e Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 I am thinking of putting a little note in my window at home after a recent attempted break-in. Words to the effect of This property will be protected against unauthorised access by reasonable force. This force may result in injury to the intruder. Access these premises at your own risk. If you are found in this house, reasonable force may result in broken limbs.
Jay_harrier Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Thieving scum, what has society come to these days.... I parked my bike up at a meet and someone robbed the titanium end can off it - people are out there tooled up for the job cos it had security bolts & lockwire also had my front indicators on the Harrier removed some years back. Its the wrong thing to say but if I catch someone in the act on mine or someone elses car there won't be much benefit of the doubt going on... a sad state of affairs.
Gareth Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Thing I dont understand is why dust caps Seems that these little pr*cks will take anything. The truth is it'll never stop and you'd be damn lucky to catch one of the c*nts in the act My god would I love to tho
Noodles Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 There was a few too many yank tanks there which I aint got a prob with but its when I heard the people in one of the booths slagging of Old Skool fords
