Mr Sam Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 i had countless watches usually lost or broke within a feek then about 5 years ago i bought a pretty decent non working one from a charity shop £3.50 then got a battery put in it £5 and i still have it and it still works never bother with it though, would just get in the way at work and if im not working i usually have my phone on me which acts more as a clock/alarm clock than it does a phone come to think of it the only thing ive phoned since buying the damn thing a month ago is the talking clock '123'
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 i think alot of people now just use there phone as a clock but im one that doesnt always have my phone with me unless im either going a long way in the car or expecting a call plus my wrist just felt strange with out a watch on as i where one 24-7
Admin Vista Posted October 2, 2007 Admin Report Posted October 2, 2007 I can't leave the home with out one. Cheap one for work and a nicer one for everything else.
jimbo Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 I work with computers all day, so never have to look further than down there, to the right for the time. Then there's the mobile. But for special, Ive got a Bolex that I picked up in Dubai for £12 and my late dads vintage (40s) Rolex, which I wear to work on the car (Joke!)
surfingturnip Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 I waer the same watch that I've had for over 6 years now, it look knakered and does the job well. Still use my phone as a clock tho.

4parajon Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 I got myself an Omega Seamaster a few years ago, saved up for ages and eventual;ly got one because I'd always wanted one. I dont take it off for anything, working on the car, welding it stays on. I'd feel naked without one
