but i was telling some old boy id bought an anglia as he was liking the fiesta and he started telling me all about this ad

Yes I remember it. And all modded Anglias were referred to as Carlos Fandango's for quite a while

never seen that one before as I didn't live in the UK in the late 70's. Funny though, I've always used the term carlos fandango wheels but didn't know where it came from till now.
