Was driving home at half 11 last night, got pulled over by none other than our very own friendly policeman Daggle. He just wan't a chat - lucky he didn't open the back of the van and find the 15 asylum seekers and the consignment of crack I was carrying!

I am no longer a police-pull virgin. Thankyou Darren for breaking me in gently!

I used to get pulled loads back in the mid to late 80's when me and all me mates used to drive ratty 1300 Mk1/2 Escorts with loud raspy exhausts etc. It was the same when i had my 2.0S Capri. We drove em like we stole em and the local plod always had there eye on us

Then in 1991, I bought my 1st RS2000. From then on they left me completely alone exept one local idiot copper who cought me givin it death away from a set of lights. He pulled me, bollocked me and proceded to tell me how he'd seen people "turn cars over" when being driven like that. Yeah right, in a straight line on a 3 lane carriageway and ultimately doin no more than 40 or 50mph (yeah i did get up to speed quite quickly though  )

I think that was the last time i was pulled.

I had a nice red Mk1 Mexico for a short while last year. One quiet Sunday afternoon I went to fill up at Stainsburys. I made a hell of a lot of noise up the road through my local town before i got there. At the last minute, a copper followed me and waited out on the road whilst i filled up. I thought here we go.. He followed me out of the filling station to the lights & pulled alongside. I sit there smilling slightly nervously. He gestures that i wind down me window. We then sit there chatting about the car for quite a few minutes as the lights change several times. He loved it, asking me all about it and what engine was in it etc and reminiced over a couple of RS's he'd owned many years ago. He never once commented on the over zealous use of my right boot and how i'd probably scared a few old ladies

I've not been pulled in ten years. Last time was in my Pug 205gti. Had a copper behind me and he claimed I went though a pedestrian crossing on red in slow moving traffic. Now, why would I do that with a copper behind me? It started changing while I was part way through.

The Rozzers HATE my Fs1e.....I've been pulled more than 10 times, and not once have they noticed the YB100 engine..........I EVEN got a not of defect and a producer for having a slack chain !!!! But i had just moved house so i had set off ALL of my documents and only had photocopies.....Then there was a postal strike and i nearly lost my DA !!!!

And i won't even start talking about my fiesta ! Or the Lotus.....
