i posted a thread a while back saying i was fitting a 20v 1.6l toyota levin engine to my capri. did a fair bit of research and found out that the torque and power figures were all different. (low torque, big hp)so i ditched the idea and decided to back to a pinto,bu i got aphone call about a crash damaged car for handy so went to checkm it out nd bought it. i obviosly did all the measuring up and so forth.

the engine which is now going into my mk3 capri without a doubt is.........

2.5l 6 cylinder turbo charged r33 nissan skyline engine.

the work has already started on the shell and a lad i work wit is making the mounts for me.its a tight fit but where theres a will theres a way.

im hoping to have the car completed for the middle of the summer.

may i just say, ive been in 1 or 2 skylines, and they r pretty rapid and can be quite nutty, thats gona be insane! i been in a standard skyline GTS single turbo 2.5, and it hit 150 with a fooked coilpack that wudnt let it hit past 4000rpm and i was still pinned in the seat the whole time. thats gona seriously scare someone in a capri! :P

good luck! :D
