emu Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 A rather rusty Y-reg 957 Mk1 Fiesta popular. It was a lovely shade of dark brown Looked great with its front number plate to one side, capri boot spoiler cut 'n' shut on to the roof and XR3i cloverleafs (oh, and lots of little dents round the wheel arches where I folded the lips over with waterpump pliers ) and gaffa tape headlight eyebrows Sold that and bought a 4 door mk2 escort, that was painted Reliant Venetian blue, almost identical to electric blue . 1300Ghia engine in that and two Peco big bore 2 tailpipes (Because it made it look like it had a V6 )

H.P.E harry Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 As alot of youngsters are saying on here, mine was the current escort in my sig. Got a job when i was 16 which paid really well for my age and after alot of saving i had £3000 in the bank, then it was time for an old skool ford! I paid £1400 pound for my escy, it was oyster gold and had only done 17000 miles! Didnt need no work done and really was as mint as it sounds. The rest of the money went towards the cobra seats, wheels and a few other mods. I cant see myself selling it ever.
