Well guys what was your first ever ford and did you enjoy it.??

 

I had a mk2 1978 escort 1300 sport with 1600 sport bored out to 1740cc with twin twin Webbers and 1600 Sport running gear fitted, RS 4 Spokes Full roll cage, Janspeed Exhaust sprayed in Canary Yellow with Forest arches.. it did surprise a few cars back in mid/late eighties fooling peeps into thinking it was a 1300 lol...

my first ford was an ereg sierra saphire ghia. with 2.0efi lump. loved but werent an escort

I had MCW236P, a beige MK2 Capri.

 

Bought it for £40 when i was 14, scrapped it shortly after buying it!

My first was a 1980 Mk2 Escort 1600 Ghia in gold, would have been around 1990, lowered it 2" and fitted a set of four spokes, loved it till i took it for an MOT and discovered it was rotten as a pear but i sold it to a welder who done all the work to it so it lived on after that

My first ford was a silver mk5 cortina in silver it got me around for a couple of years then my mate had it he used it for banger racing

was a h plate mk2 cortina 1600 super auto in green,gave £25.00 for it,messed about with it for a couple of months then scrapped it ,i was only 15

first was a £35, 1500 four door corsair when i was 16. Took the roof of it after i had seen a picture of a crayford conv. scrapped it shortly after ( wonder why ?). then passed my test a year and a half later and bought a 3.0s Capri the same day. Great car ( got stolen)

My first ever car when i passed my test in 1985 was a £200 1972 mk1 escort with a 2 litre Pinto in it . Happy days but £445 for the insurance !!!!!!!!

Mk1 Escort 4 door in roman bronze 1300. It had been in the army so while it was M reg it was registered NNF401W. Blew the engine up racing my mate Wayne on the M67.

In 1988 i got a 76 Mk4 cortina 1600L in beige, minicabbed in it for a year or so, had a Ghia int, Mk3 GT centre consol, RS4 spokes and a big whip arial on the boot
