I don't remember mk1's, but I do remember a Mk2 pull up on the street I lived on, and I told him he was driving illegally because his tail light was out.

 

When he drove past a few minutes later he'd fixed it.

Strangely enough I saw one this year up in the Bradford area,when I was picking up my Anglia,but it was in a large area of wasteland with loads of other cars,vans and caravans and many,many gypies.I did park up to take a pic but was quickly approached by several gypsies so decided to make a hasty retreat.

in London im sure i can remember seeing them with a white door and pale blue colouring replaced by mk2s either in dark blue or pale blue and allegros !!
