no its an anglia in New Zealand the guy is using an NA 13b as the dummy engine but has a tubby one to put in

 

im getting very tempted though as the carb'd ones just have an awsome sound and seem to go like the clappers :lol:

The washing machine lookalike rotary motors are mental . They drink petrol like a big V8 though :?

and yes its first few seasons will be screaming 1300 x'flow :wink: and no sorry but i couldnt bring myself to put a zetec in it

Do it, i love the rotary engine...reving to 10000 rpm.

YES YES YES! The 13b is a great engine. I reckon in NA form itd suit your car best. Theyre readily availible in the 80's rx-7's too as no-one wants them. You hear loads of stories about them being unreliable and needing a lot of work, but its not true. If you really look after it like you should any engine, and use the right oils and decent fuels then itll run far longer.

trust me whether this gets done or not i will NEVRE i repeat NEVER be putting a zetec in my anglia its going x'flow screamer then 8v pinto.........unless i stick rotors in it :mrgreen:

there's also a firm that fit these into rally escorts,so should be fairly easy to get them to fit into the 'box 8)

 

yes one turned up at pod back in Feb, launched off the line (must of still had the suspension in rally settings) fish tailed 90degrees each way then just took off :shock: sequential box as it was propperly banging through every gear........thats whats made me want todo it really :mrgreen:
