G.O Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Hi OSF people! OK, so I've been a member here for a while but never really got round to posting - too busy on BSC and an F1 based forum. Been into MkII Cortinas for more years than I care to remember and have never been without at least 2 ever since I got my first pratcially as soon as got my licence. Been involved with the MkII OC for probably 15 years now, serving as Vice Chairman there for a long while, and also started up the Surrey pub meet way back in 1995. Current fleet includes a couple of Crayfords (one a very rare Lotus version), an early 2dr GT and a modded estate. Got all of them in bits ATM, though hopefully I'll have the estate back togethere again very shortly after a 6 week tidy up thats ended up being a complete resto that started nearly 2 years ago. Got a feeling some of you will remember this one - used to look like this
Admin Vista Posted December 18, 2007 Admin Report Posted December 18, 2007 Welcome to the site this car isn't the 2 door GT you're referring too is it? Or am I confusing you with someone else?
G.O Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Posted December 18, 2007 I wish nah, mine shall we say "needs a little work" All the hard work was done by the previous owner, but he lost the garage it was in so was going to scrap it. Thankfully we found out about it just in time and got there just 24 hours before the scrappy. Had it for a good few years now, and apart from fitting suspension and wheels so we can move it around, its in exactly the same state as when we picked it up it'll be a long time before this will see the road again - we've got a load of other projects to work through b efore we get to this one!
kevs mk3 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 hi and welcome to osf, those are some nice projects
